Who you are dealing with

The service is provided by DevX Group LLC. These terms cover the use of this website and the phone answering service. A signed service agreement, where one exists, wins over anything on this page.

What we provide

A phone answering service for one business line per plan. It answers calls that are forwarded to it, takes messages and emails them to you, can book jobs into a Cal.com calendar we connect for you, and keeps a record of each call it answers.

What you are responsible for

You give us accurate hours, services, prices and escalation rules, and you keep them current. The service answers from what you approved. If your information is wrong, the answers will be wrong.

You are responsible for telling your callers what the law where you operate requires you to tell them about how their calls are handled and recorded.

Billing

Plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, per business line, through Lemon Squeezy. There is no setup fee. Included minutes are counted from the carrier's call record, answer to hang up, and minutes beyond the bundle are billed at the rate on the pricing page.

Unused minutes do not roll over. There is no contract: cancel any time and the service runs to the end of the period you paid for. If you cancel within 30 days of your first payment, we refund that payment in full.

What we do not promise

No answering service is perfect and we will not pretend otherwise. The service can mishear, it can fail to book, and it can go down. When it does, the failure is written down and shown to you.

Our liability for any month is limited to what you paid us for that month. We are not liable for business you did not win or for an appointment that did not happen.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to place outbound marketing calls, to record people where recording is not permitted, or for anything unlawful. The service does not make outbound calls, and we will not build that for a use like this.

Your data

Call records belong to you. We hold them to run the service, we do not sell them, and we do not train models for other customers on them. On termination you get an export and we delete our copies within thirty days.

Changes and law

We can change these terms, and when we do we date the change and tell current customers by email at least thirty days before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the law of the state where DevX Group LLC is registered, which is named in your service agreement.
