# DevX Voice

## Who it is for

Owners of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, cleaning and contractor businesses in the US who miss calls while they are on a job. English only. Not for medical or dental offices.

## What it does

- Answers day or night, weekends too. Even when you're under a sink or up on a roof. Forward your line when you're busy, after hours, or all the time.
- Can book the job into your calendar. We connect your Cal.com calendar at setup. It offers real open times, writes the booking, then reads it back before it tells the caller they're booked.
- Never guesses a price or a promise. It only quotes what you told it to. Anything else, it takes a clear message so you can call back with a real number.
- Takes a message you can act on. Name, callback number, service address and the problem. It reads the number back, then emails the message to you.
- One flat price, no setup fee. We set it up for you. Month to month, ten cents a minute past your 1,000, and nothing else on the bill.

## How a call goes

- Ring: It picks up. Your number forwards to it on the conditions you choose: when you're busy, after hours, when nobody answers, or all the time. The greeting names your business and says it's the virtual receptionist.
- Listen: It works out what the caller needs. Book a job, move one, ask a question, or reach you. No menu, no press one. If the caller talks over it, it stops and listens.
- Offer: It offers real open times. Once we connect your Cal.com calendar, openings come from it, and it offers two rather than reading out a list.
- Book: It books, then checks its own work. The booking is written to your Cal.com calendar and read back. If what's on the calendar doesn't match, it doesn't tell the caller they're booked; it takes a message for you instead.
- Message: Everything else becomes a message you can act on. It takes the caller's name, callback number, service address and the problem, reads the number back, and emails the message to you.
- Screen: Spam doesn't reach you. Known spam numbers are screened out, and it hangs up on silent robocalls.

## Not yet

- No Jobber, Housecall Pro or ServiceTitan sync yet. Bookings go into Cal.com.
- It doesn't put callers through to your phone yet. It takes a message instead.
- No login of your own yet. Tell us a change and we make it the same day.
- English only for now.
- No text message confirmations yet.
- Not for medical or dental offices.
- It doesn't make outbound calls or take card payments over the phone.

## Pricing

- Founding: $199 a month. For the first three businesses. Your price is locked for 12 months.
- Standard: $299 a month or $2,990 a year. The same service once the founding spots are gone.
- Both plans: 1,000 minutes a month, $0.10 a minute after that, No setup fee, Month to month, 30-day money-back.

## Questions and answers

Q: Does it actually book jobs, or just take messages?
A: Both. It can always take a full message: name, callback number, address and the problem, emailed to you. It can also book into a Cal.com calendar, which we connect for you at setup. It offers open times, writes the booking, then reads it back before telling the caller they're booked.

Q: Does it work with Jobber, Housecall Pro or ServiceTitan?
A: Not yet. Bookings go into Cal.com and messages come to you by email, so for now you add the job to Jobber or Housecall Pro by hand. If you run everything inside Jobber, Jobber's own receptionist may suit you better.

Q: What if a caller wants a real person?
A: It takes their name, number and what they need, reads the number back, and emails it to you straight away. It doesn't put calls through to your phone yet.

Q: Will it make up prices or promise things I don't offer?
A: No. It only says what's in your settings. If a caller asks about a price or a job you haven't given it, it says it doesn't have that and takes a message.

Q: Does it tell callers it's not a person?
A: Yes. The greeting says it's the virtual receptionist, and it never pretends to be a person.

Q: Does it speak Spanish?
A: Not yet. It answers in English only.

Q: Does it send text confirmations?
A: Not yet. Business texting needs a carrier registration that isn't finished, so it doesn't send texts today. We'll say so here when it does.

Q: Is it for medical or dental offices?
A: Not right now. Health care needs privacy work we haven't finished, so we only take home service businesses for now.

Q: Can I change what it says?
A: Yes. The greeting, your hours, your answers to common questions and the prices it may quote all live on one settings page. Tell us what to change and we make it the same day; it's live on the next call.

Q: What happens if I go over 1,000 minutes?
A: Every extra minute is ten cents, on both plans. No higher tier kicks in and nothing else gets added to the bill.

Q: Is there a contract or a setup fee?
A: Neither. It's month to month with no setup fee. Cancel within your first 30 days and you get your money back.

Q: Why is there no free trial?
A: Because we set every account up by hand. Instead, call the demo line as many times as you like before you buy, and if it's not right for you in the first 30 days, you get your money back.

Q: What does the founding price lock mean?
A: The first three businesses pay $199 a month and keep that price for 12 months, even after Standard is the only plan on this page.
