Short, specific, and written in the same words we would use on the phone. If something here is unclear, that is a bug and we want to hear about it.
What this covers
This page describes what DevX Group LLC does with information when you use this website and when we answer calls for your business. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
If you are a caller who reached a business that uses our service, the business you called decides how your information is used. We handle it on their instruction. Ask them, or write to us and we will point you at them.
What the website collects
The question form collects your name, your business name, your email, your phone number, your trade, the plan you are looking at, and anything you type in the message box. We use it to reply to you. Nothing else.
When you buy a plan, Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor and seller of record, collects your payment details. We never see your full card number. After purchase, the setup form collects your business details (name, trade, hours, services and prices, the number to forward, your calendar) so we can set up the service.
If site analytics are switched on, we use Umami, which is self hosted and open source. It records page views without cookies and without a profile of you. It does not follow you to other websites.
What the phone service stores
For each call we store the transcript, the outcome, the caller number, the timestamps, and what the system did. Call audio is not recorded.
This information belongs to the business whose phone we answer. It sits in a database for that location alone. It is not pooled with another business, it is not sold, and it is not used to train a model for anyone else.
Who else touches it
On hosted plans, the call passes through the carrier that carries the phone line and the services that turn speech into text, produce the reply, and speak it back. Each of those vendors handles the audio or the text needed to do its part of the call and nothing more.
We name every vendor in the service agreement before a business goes live.
How long we keep it
Call records are kept for ninety days by default. A business can ask for a shorter window, an export, or deletion, and we do it. Demo requests are kept until we have finished the conversation, and no longer than two years.
Security, honestly stated
Production access is limited to the DevX engineers who support the service, and every access is logged. Call data is encrypted in transit, and every backup is encrypted. We do not claim any certification we have not completed, and we do not claim HIPAA compliance. We do not currently serve medical or dental practices.
Your choices
Write to support@devxgroup.io to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, to get a copy, or to have it deleted. We answer within thirty days and usually within two working days. There is no form and no ticket queue.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, we date the change and tell current customers by email. We do not quietly widen what we collect.
